I want everyone to notice the new link I've added to the link section for Ex Libris Anonymous. This really cool woman named Jasmine takes old books from the forties, fifties, sixties and seventies and makes them into journals with spiral bindings. She leaves a few of the pages in, as in the journal my mom bought for her godson. He's graduating from high school and has taken a lot of French. My mom chose an old French textbook and Jasmine left the glossary in the back of the journal. They are $11.00 even with shipping. An awesome deal. And she's really nice and sends you a sweet thank you email. Check out her site.

Did I ever think I'd say that I had a lovely evening watching Friday the 13th (the first) with a bunch of friends? Yes, the seventies cheese factor, or perhaps early eighties, made it seem much less scary, the drinking game rules T gave us for watching a horror movies, perhaps the fact that I am twenty-eight, and MM on my left to grab when I was scared (maybe even "scared") all helped. These are the things that made my evening lovely.

I've learned many things about MM since the last time I blogged about this subject I was trying so hard not to blog about. MM lives with S, his younger-by-two-years girlfriend who attends a university in the area. Apparently, to quote MM, they "hate each other." Sure, that could be somewhat exaggerated, but MM never asks S to join him at these activities I invite him too, I've invited her twice, he tells me he's not expected home, there's a cot in the living room for him--what is a girl supposed to think? No, I'm asking you, what's a girl supposed to think? The only thing I can seem to come up with is that he sees me as a great friend who's funny and/or he's ending (I believe he's ending) a two year relationship and has no desire to leap into another.

I know what I look like, and like I said, I have no instincts about men.
